Eric Gomance, Brad Yount, and Seth Mabry perform for the Pine Tree Speech, an annual ceremony commemorating the February, 1914 fire which destroyed the Henderson State campus.  Students rescued 30,000 books from the library and all the pianos from the burning building.

After the fire was put out, Henderson students gathered in the snow under a group of pines trees with a decision to make — whether to transfer to other schools in the area or rebuild Henderson, which they did.
